About me

I’ve been in the education world a long time. I grew up the son of a teacher, spending my afternoons roaming the empty halls of the school. I started teaching ELA at Villa Rica High School back in 2007. After spending several years trying to do things the traditional way, I started looking for different ways to do class. In the fall of 2018, after attending GAETC, I stumbled upon a lot of great educational technology resources and became hooked.

Now, I’m an advocate for using ed tech, not as a simple replacement for assignments, but as a way to enhance the way students learn in class. I’m learning new methods and sharing them as much as possible.
